Covered Bridge veterinarians are excited to partner with you and your horse to help you achieve your performance goals. No matter what discipline you ride or level you compete, we are available to help your horse reach his full potential. Lameness examinations are often performed on horses that have injuries or decreased performance. Our veterinarians will evaluate the horse at different gaits and on different footings and may perform various tests such as flexions or peri-neural analgesia to attempt to isolate the area from which the lameness is originating.

Additionally, some horses need regular maintenance and care to help them perform at their highest level or just to keep them comfortable as normal wear and tear take a toll on their bones and muscles. We are happy to consult with you on the best plan of action to keep your individual horse feeling his best.
